Finance: Investment (Bodie, Kane, Markus)

We all learn English for different purposes: work, study or simply for fun.
Once our Business English Lecturer at Foreign Trade University of HCMc told us that the only way to get English used professionally is to actually use it, in your daily life or your profession. To me it means we have to master daily communication or my profession first because each communication context or profession defines different English to be used.
To that end, we are honored to introduce you the finance series of this English blog with the well-known title of well-known authors in finance: Investment by Bodie, Kane, Markus, 5th Edition.
This is a book for newbies (by whom i mean EVERYONE) to finance and financial English. It covers a wide range of investment issues, guiding you to  basic thinking in finance, answering you what people actually mean by finance, financial market, derivatives, portfolio, investment,... . May or may not you see it useful, but i am more than sure that after mastering these some hundred pages, you are to be able to use English financially!
